National Voter Registration

With the start of the 2008 election year, institutions of higher education must engage in certain voter registration activities in preparation for the upcoming national and state gubernatorial elections. The 1998 Reauthorization of the Higher Education Act of 1965 mandates that institutions must distribute mail-in voter registration forms and make such forms widely available to students in years when there are elections for federal office, governor or other chief executives within the state [HEA Section 487(a)(23)].

Mail-in registration forms will be available on campus at the start of the fall semester in the  Office of the Registrar& Office of Advising & Testing.
